      Actuator installation

      1.lnstallation site 1.1 Installation Precautions -For installation in places with explosive gas, explosion-proof actuators need to be ordered; - Please specify in advance if the installation is submerged ; - When installing the cable on site, is outer diameter must be in line with the cable that is compatible with the inner diameter of the waterproofconnector,otherwise the outdoor rainwater can enter the actuator from the waterproof cable connector and damage the internal parts; - Please reserve space for wiring and manual operation and maintenance ; 1.2Ambient temperature - The ambient temperature is -25℃+70℃ (other temperatures can be customized); - When the ambient temperature is lower than -25'℃ or higher than 70℃ please contact the technical department of our company in advance to propose specific solutions;  (all series of standard dryers) 1.3 Pipeline fluid temperature conditions -When used with a valve, the heat of the fuid in the pipeline will be transferred to the actuator, and the temperature of the actuator housing will rise ; if the on-site pipeline fluid is higher than 80℃, please contact our company in advance.Contact with the Ministry to propose a specific solution; (the connection with the valve needs to increase the bracket for heat insulation) 1.4 Pipeline high frequency vibration conditions - Intelligent actuators under high-frequency vibration conditions require separate installation;    2.Actuator output connection -The fange mounting hole at the bottom of the actuator is lSO5211 standard. lf the valve connection size does not conform to the standard,please contact our company's technical department in advance to propose a specific solution;(before leaving the factory)(According to customer requirements, re-punch holes or produce brackets and connecting sleeves) -According to the different connecting spindles of the valve, the inner hole at the bottom of the actuator can be replaced with different sizes such as square holes , round holes and bilateral holes; the replacement method is simple, just use circlip pliers to take out the spline sleeve bottom the circlip can be replaced; Actuator output connection3.Installation sequence of actuator and valveInstallation sequence of actuator and valve  Installation sequence of actuator and valve Note: This figure only shows the installation sequence and can be used as a reference. The actual actuator shall prevail. 4.Electrical wiring -Remove the plug for external cable access, please use an explosion-proof connector or explosion-proof cable hose with an external thread of NPT3/4; -lf the cable connector does not meet the electrical interface of the actuator, it may cause the internal sealing level to drop and fail to meet the protection requirements, or the actuator will be damaged by water entering the inside; - When using electrical wires, take full waterproof measures; - Remove the upper cover of the actuator,use a fat-blade screwdriver to press down the metal shrapnel in the small hole on the terminal, and at the sametime the wire is smoothly inserted into the side trminal hole,pull out the screwdriver ,the internal spring clamping mechanism of the terminal can reliably clamp the wire; Electrical wiring Note: 1.Before completing the wiring check, do not swich on the power supply. Shor-circuit and wrong wiring will cause permanent damage to the actuatord! 2.Please pay attention to the switch instructions, please do not use brute force on the hand wheel/handle when it exceeds the fully open an fully cosed positions, so as not to cause damage to the actuator mechanism!  






        Debugging instructions

        1.Mechanical limit adjustment Losen the mechanical limit screw and limit nut, turn the handwheel with the left hand and press the switch handle with the right hand in the direction of the arrow to engage the internal clutch of the mechanism to reach the manuel function state (switcing hand when the power is turned on) The handle automatically resets without human intervention), continue to rotate the handwheel clockwise to move the actuator to the fully closed position,rotate the limit screw, and stop turning when it his the internal sector worm gear.Rotate two turns to the left, and finally tighten the nut.In this way, the position of the mechanical limit when the actuator is fully closed is set. Rotate the handwheel in the fully open position counterclockwise and set it in the same way. Debugging instructions for electric actuator Note: POQ series 006 type to 060 type manual switch requires a switch handle (automatic reset function when power is on), 08O type to 200 type does not need a switch handle   2.Electronic travel limit adjustment Manually close the valve to the position to loosen the switch direction limit cam, adjust it to the position where the limit switch is just pressed down, and then lock the limit cam, so that the position of the electrical limit when the actuator is fully closed is adjusted;The position when fully open can be set in the same way; Debugging instructions for electric actuator   3.Adjustment of overload protection device Under the normal working pressure of the valve, adjust the overload cam so that it just touches the roller of the corresponding micro switch,but it can't be pressed.When the required torque to openor close the valve is greater than the factory rated torque, the overload rotating shaft will rotate clockwise or counterclockwise, driving the upper overloadcam to press the micro switch to stop the function and output a set ofover torque indications.To protect the electric valve from damage. Debugging instructions for electric actuator Note: The overload protection device has been adjusted before leaving the factory. in principle, no further adjustment is required ,f djustment is requiredthe valve needs to be adjusted under normal working pressure conditions   4.Potentiometer adjustment The potentiometer is used as a feedback output in the actuator, and there are three output terminals, of which the terminal pin ② is connected to the sliding arm of the potentiometer. When the terminal pin of ① is connected to the actuator to open ,the resistance between it and the sliding arm keeps decreasing one end; when the pin of terminal ③ is connected to the actuator to close the action,the resistance to the sliding arm keeps decreasing one end (note: potentiometer)There should be no resistance value crossing zero, umping phenomenon).Use the handwheel to turn the valve to the fully open position, and use a multimeter to measure it, and adjust the resistance of the terminals ①② on the wiring terminals to between 40Ω and 65Ω. If it is not correct, it can be adjusted by turning the transmission gear on the potentiometer. Debugging instructions for electric actuator   5.Position indicator adjustment First close the valve to the correct position, disassemble the 3D window protective cover and 3D transparent protective cover, use an Allen key to loosen the 3D indicator column, rotate it to the correct position and lock it,and then reset and install it in turn (Picture 1).
